| Summary: Seleshi presented in our office complaining about the condition and appearance of his teeth. Evaluation: A number of his front teeth had evidence of wear, chipping, failing fillings and decay along with being discolored. A combination of restorative and esthetic procedures needed to be employed in order to rejuvenate and repair Selishi’s teeth to a natural and healthy state. What we did: A smile design was created utilizing computer simulation and from this it was determined that Seleshi would first undergo bleaching of his natural dentition followed by placing temporary veneers and crowns for his upper 8 front teeth built to the appropriate proportions and shape determined from his smile design. Once Seleshi was happy with his new look, the temporaries were removed and replaced with customized porcelain veneers fabricated not to just match the form of his temporaries, but also to create a bright natural smile that blends in with his natural teeth. Result: As a result, Seleshi now enjoys the smile he has always desired. |
