| Summary: This patient is continually in the public eye and found it extremely important to have a sparklingly white yet natural smile. Evaluation: In order to be successful, it was necessary to address all the teeth that would show when Ross smiled. However, it was important to be as conservative as possible given the excellent condition the patient’s teeth generally were in. What we did: To achieve the result that Ross desired, we first created a computer simulation, which aided in determining how many teeth needed to be treated with a combination of bleaching and porcelain veneers. This information was communicated with our laboratory. As a result, Ross’s natural teeth were bleached followed by having 8 temporary veneers for his upper teeth and 8 temporary veneers for his lower teeth being fabricated Once Ross was happy with his temporary look, his provisional’s were removed and replaced with customized porcelain veneers. The veneers were made to be extremely thin, yet with a white color that has a strikingly natural and attractive appearance in person and on camera. Result: Ross now enjoys and feels more confident with his new bright white smile. |
