Summary:
Michelle came our office complaining about the condition and appearance of her smile. Her request was for straight white teeth, yet not “scary white”.

Evaluation:
She had previously placed cosmetic dental work on her upper teeth that had evidence of breaking down and discoloration along with her lower teeth being crooked and discolored.

What we did:
A design of what Michelle desired for her smile was visualised in a computer simulation. From this, it was determined that Michelle showed approximately 10 upper teeth and 8 lower teeth when smiling. Therefore in order to create the shape, color, and smile that Michelle was looking for, her old upper existing veneers needed to be removed and 10 new veneers for her upper teeth incorporating the size, shape and desired white color would be fabricated. Simultaneously, in order to straighten and create a color to match her upper teeth, 8 lower porcelain veneers would also be fabricated. Temporary veneers were first fabricated to Michelle’s desired specifications and placed on her upper and lower front teeth. Once she was happy with her new look, the temporaries were removed and replaced with the permanent porcelain veneers.

Result:
As a result, Michelle now enjoys that natural yet bright white smile she had always envisioned.
