| Discoloration, wear and tear of old porcelain veneers corrected by full mouth bleaching and custom porcelain dental veneers. | |||||||||
| Summary: Jo Lynn presented in our office complaining about how she was unhappy with her smile. She requested to have her smile appear natural yet with a light and bright color. Evaluation: Jo Lynn had porcelain veneers on her upper front teeth placed many years before and their appearance was unattractive due to wear and discoloration. Her surrounding teeth also were discolored and her lower teeth were slightly crooked. What we did: A computer simulation was created to determine exactly what look Jo Lynn was looking for and from this design a treatment plan was created. As a result, Jo Lynn had her natural teeth bleached and this was followed by placing customized porcelain veneers on her upper front 8 teeth and her lower front 6 teeth fabricated to the specific specifications of her smile design along with blending in naturally to her existing bleached teeth. Result: Jo Lynn enjoys naturally looking light and bright color teeth showing with a beaming smile. |
