Summary:
Babette presented in our office with concerns about the state of her ongoing treatment from another practice. She wanted a contoured smile with natural symmetry.

Evaluation:
She required other areas, besides her 6 upper front teeth being corrected. In particular, she needed her gingival tissue (gums) re-contoured to create a natural symmetry, which in turn would result in her 6 front teeth having more attractive and natural proportions. Additionally, Babette also needed teeth behind her 6 front teeth to be treated to fill in the collapsed appearance of her smile.

What we did:
We underwent a smile design process, which included doing a computer simulation, and a 3D wax model to determine the proposed look and this was followed by periodontal (gum) treatment. Upon completion a combination of customized temporary veneers and crowns were manufactured to the proportions previously designed and placed on her upper 8 teeth. Once it was confirmed that this was the look Babette envisioned for her smile, the temporaries were replaced with customized porcelain veneers and crowns matching the form of her temporaries along with having the color she desired.

Result:
Babette now enjoys the beautiful and natural smile of which she had always dreamed.
